In addition to cosy Tyrolean accommodation we also offer regional specialties here at the Hotel Gasthof Jäger in the Zillertal where the owner and passionate hunter cooks himself!

Our family-managed 3-star hotel lies in a quiet area of the small village of Schlitters in Erste Ferienregion Zillertal. All standard as well as comfort rooms are equipped with shower/WC, satellite TV, radio and a balcony that offers an extensive view of the mountains and pastures of the Zillertal. Our 3-bed rooms are particularly suited for families with children.

Holiday at the 3-star Gasthof Jäger means to start the day with a rich and balanced breakfast buffet to be strengthened and prepared for a hiking or skiing day in the Zillertaler Mountains. After a wonderful day filled with experiences together with the whole family your host and his team will pamper you with traditional Austrian delicacies in the evening! Our cosy, Tyrolean style restaurant is both frequented by locals and our guests.

The Jägerstüberl is our lounge and TV room for informal rounds with friends and family and is available for game or football evenings at any time! Parking is available directly in front of the hotel and for all cyclists and motor bike fans we offer secure and free equipment storage in the garage and in the bicycle cellar. A large ski room with ski boot dryer is at the disposal of all skiers and snowboarders.

In summer we pamper you with barbeque evenings and live music on our sun terrace and are happy to provide advice on the numerous activities on offer in Erste Ferienregion Zillertal, among them tennis courts and the Schlitterer See bathing lake with large playground. Of course, there are also numerous cycle and hiking trails in direct proximity of our hotel. In winter you comfortably reach the free ski bus to the nearby Hochfügen - Hochzillertal and Spieljoch skiing resorts within 2 minutes only.

Conditions and Information

After the tunnel drive to the petrol station. Here you have to turn right. Then turn left and drive straight ahead to Schlitters. Our house is situated nearby the centre of Schlitters in a quiet position.
