Our in 2007 renovated Hotel Berghaus leaves nothing to be desired, if you plan to spend a perfect vacation in the alpine valley "Tuxertal". Enjoy the impressively free view on the giant "Tux" mountains and imagine for a short but intense time, you have a new home. That´s how we want to spoil you. Already the location of our hotel means easiness: near enough to the cable cars which you can reach by car in only a few minutes – and even the ski- and hiking bus stops across from our door (for free use). On the other hand far enough to enjoy your stay in delightful silence.

Mountaineers and skiers who are active in the mountains have to rely on many things. In summer: Berghaus-Activ package! We offer you guided hiking tours with our guides  (5 x per week) and boss Thomas and also free use of the hiking-bus. New: E-bike rental directly at the hotel and guided E-Bike tours.

You can enjoy our hotel comfort also in luxurious suites of 49 m² to 143 m², in our Berghaus Suites, with Private Spa (finnish sauna/bio sauna); connected by a tunnel with the main house.

Our latest acquisition are apartments for 2 people (35 m²), bookable with self-catering and including wellness, in the Berghaus "Green Living" eco-house. These are also located opposite the hotel and are connected to the main building by an underground corridor.

A new ski & bike depot with lockable storage boxes for all rooms, studios, suites and apartments is included in the offer. There are covered parking spaces in the underground car park.

You can relax in our new 20x7 panoramic indoor pool with fantistic view to the Hintertux Glacier. There is also a vital bar and a new outdoor block sauna, a natural swimming pond and a lawn for sun-seekers.

In our restaurant "Alte Hütte" and in the new panoramic restaurant you can enjoy breakfast and dinner in particular and on the new garden terrace you can enjoy the last rays of sun after skiing or after a hike.

Ulrike and Thomas Fankhauser sincerely welcome you at the foot of the Hintertux glacier and mountains in the "Alpinhotel Berghaus spa & Suites & Green Living". Only 2 km to the glacier, at the cross-country track and ski- and hiking bus stop for the free ski bus.
